Sleeping in Japan

This is the second blog in the series Get off the Tour Bus Japan. It’s about my travels in Japan earlier this year and it focuses on accommodation.
It looks at a ryokan which is a traditional Japanese Inn, a modern hotel in Kyoto looking like any smart trendy hotel, a business hotel in Kanazawa, a capsule hotel in Tokyo.
I couldn’t afford hotels with lots of stars so this is not a representative sample of hotels in Japan, just the hotels I slept in.
