Paradise or Not?
Phu Quoc is an island in the Gulf of Thailand but it belongs to Vietnam. It is claimed by many travellers to be somewhat paradisal yet when I shot this video in 2019 it was far from that. The beaches were said to be wonderful but they varied in upkeep. I was there in the off season and it rained a lot then. I don’t want to be ultra critical. I did not stay in resort type hotels because of my limited budget so my experience of the island and its attractions was also limited. This video has no drone shots which of course the tourist can never experience and my footage is completely non-promotional. I’ll never make it as an influencer!
