A closer look at people and streets
This video is a continuation of my wonderful stay in Fez.
However the emphasis is less on the cultural aspects than on what it feels like to wander about the tiny streets of a medieval medina. It's called the Old Town but from the outside it looks like a fortress. Inside you can imagine how the lanes were built to defend against an invader.
In the hotel, called a ryad, I met a guy from Sydney who had been traveling for years. He tells us how he survived financially and what he gains from traveling.
